The Alzheimer’s Disease Program Initiative and Title VI is pleased to host an event for our TITLE VI PARTICIPANTS. Dos Owings and Atheda Fletcher say, “Our Title VI members are special and we want to invite our members to share a day of “SUMMER FUN”. The schedule looks like this!! We will start with a delicious breakfast (you can get your breakfast at the MPB or Title VI building)!! Then, learn a little about dementia; play some competitive corn hole; and play competitive chair volley ball. Bingo will start later--around noon. We can play bingo, rest and have noon time snacks! A day of fun for all!”
Now the lowdown on the prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the 1st place Corn Hole Winners of the Men’s twosome team and the Women’s twosome team. For Chair Volley Ball, 1st place prizes to the 6-person winning team. Bingo is last with lots of great prizes!! So, select your team mate(s) and sign-up when you arrive at the AST Multipurpose Building in Shawnee.
This event has two goals—A little bit of DEMENTIA EDUCATION and a whole lot of FUN!!
