BACKGROUND: Under the direction of the Clinical Applications Coordinator, the Lead Clinical Applications Specialist will assist with Clinical Applications integration; as the Lead Clinical Applications Specialist, incumbent is responsible for providing ongoing lead integration support for physician offices including troubleshooting and problem resolution. Accountable to supervisor for results.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Previous leadership experience in similar setting; experience supporting Allscripts Ambulatory, Allscripts Practice Management, Dentrix, Medflow applications is preferred. Excellent analytical abilities and strong problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. CMS and ONC guidelines regarding the Hi-Tech Act. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree and/or two years working with ambulatory EHR and/or similar clinical applications; bachelor’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience, which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above, may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
Must be able to pass a background check.
