The position is located within the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System and may work in both Little Axe and Shawnee Clinic locations. Clinic staff members provide multi-disciplinary therapeutic and preventive medical care for beneficiaries. The clinical dietitian will assess the nutritional needs of individuals and groups, plans and implements individualized diet and nutritional meal plans for a variety of patient needs and participates in community events to promote health and wellness in Native populations. The dietitian will collaborate with the medical care team and the community to bring the best comprehensive care to our patients and community members. Continuation of position is contingent based on availability of grant funds.
