Applications are now available for the 2025 General Assistance Program. Deadline for applications is December 31 at 5 pm CST.
MUST be an enrolled member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma (on or before November 25th, 2025).
MUST be 18 on or before November 25th, 2025).
All AST Tribal Members ages 18 and older, enrolled as of November 25th, 2025 are eligible to receive a one (1) time payment of $100.00.

Purpose: The purpose of this public hearing is to allow public comments relating to the draft AST 102-477 plan. The final Plan will be submitted to the P.L. 102-477 for the approval to be used for the proposed plan period 1/1/2026-12/31/2030. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting to give feedback on the draft plan and this input will be considered when completing the final AST 102-477 Plan. Items of interest to be discussed will include the following:

The Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is accepting applications for the position of Supreme Court Judge of the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Court. Minimum qualification for said Judge is: must be an enrolled member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe or the parent, child, or spouse of an enrolled member of the Tribe, or domiciled within the territorial jurisdiction of the Tribe, or an attorney; or a lay advocate who has regularly practiced before the Court as a member of the Bar of the Court for a period of five years; or an Indian graduate of an American Bar Association law school or a paralegal program approved by the Supreme Courts.
